Snicker Cheesecake Cream Pie:
1 graham cracker crust (store-bought or homemade)
1 c. heavy whipping cream
8 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature or microwaved for 20 seconds
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1/2 t. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. chopped Snickers or more as desired
Garnishes:
1/2 c. heavy whipping cream
2 T. powdered sugar
more chopped Snickers
In a medium mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy; add in vanilla extract and sugar; beat until combined.
In a separate bowl, beat the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form. Using a rubber spatula, pour the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture; gently mix together; fold in the chopped Snickers; combine.
Spread into the pie crust, smoothing the top evenly.
Refrigerate for 6 hours or overnight, before serving. It can be made up to 2-3 days in advance and kept in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
8 servings.
Optional garnishes: Beat 1/2 c. heavy whipping cream plus powdered sugar; beat until stiff peaks form. Pipe or spread onto pie; garnish with additional chopped Snickers. You could also melt some chocolate chips in the microwave and drizzle it over the pie. Cool Whip could be used for something easier.
