Description

BBQ season is here, so make the most of it with a wonderful Middle Eastern chicken recipe. It's really a simple dish and is flavorful and super moist. Serve it with an Israeli salad, your favorite rice, or even in a wrap.

Ingredients

  • 2 - 2 ¼ lb. chicken thighs, boneless and skinless, or skin on
  • 2 T. ground cumin
  • 2 T. ground coriander
  • 8 cloves, minced
  • 2 t. kosher salt
  • 6 T. olive oil
  • 1/4 t. cayenne
  • 2 t. turmeric
  • 1 t. ground ginger
  • 1 t. ground black pepper
  • 2 t. allspice

Steps

  1. Marinade: Place all ingredients except for chicken in a bowl; mix or pulse in a food processor to make a paste.
  2. Rub chicken on all sides with marinade; let sit at least 20 minutes or up to 24 hours refrigerated.
  3. When ready to cook, preheat BBQ grill to medium-high heat.
