Your family will love these wonderful, delicious, easy to make chicken sandwiches. Let the chicken cook in the crockpot all day, shred the chicken when you get home, let some cheese melt on top and then serve on your favorite buns.
4 chicken breasts
1 packet Hidden Valley Buttermilk Ranch Dressing Mix
8 oz. cream cheese, softened
8 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
2 c. mild or sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
handful of green onions, optional
hamburger or your favorite buns
Place a crockpot liner in the base of a large crock pot for easy clean up; layer the chicken breasts; place cream cheese on top; sprinkle with the Ranch seasoning packet. Cook on Low for 6 hours.
Transfer chicken to a cutting board or a platter; shred chicken with 2 forks. Return chicken to crockpot. Sprinkle the cheese on top and then the bacon.
Cover the crockpot; cook about 15 more minutes or just until cheese is melted. Sprinkle with scallions.
Serve on your favorite buns.
