Ingredients
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 6 t. Cajun seasoning, divided, or more to taste* (store bought or homemade)
- 6 T. butter, divided
- 1 lb. linguine or favorite pasta
- 3 bell peppers, various colors, sliced
- 1 red onion, sliced
- 8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
- 2 c. heavy cream
Steps
- Rub each chicken breast with 1 t. Cajun seasoning.
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat; add in 3 T. butter; sear chicken breasts until browned on both sides. Reduce heat to medium-low; cook until chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees, about 5-7 minutes per side, depending on thickness. Remove chicken from skillet; set aside to rest.
- Cook linguine according to package directions, 9-13 minutes; drain.
