Make your guests feel special with this beautiful easy to make cocktail. It's to serve on those hot summer days. Just be sure to make enough!
Cherry Syrup:
1 1/2 c. pitted fresh cherries
1/3 c. water
2 T. sugar
1/2 c. freshly squeezed juice from limes
1/2 c. vodka
1/3 c. fresh cherry syrup
2 c. lime seltzer water, cold
crushed ice, for serving
lime wedges, fresh mint and fresh cherries, for garnish

Cherry Syrup:
Place cherries, water and sugar in a saucepan; heat over medium-low heat, until cherries are soft and bursting, about 6 - 8 minutes. Carefully pour mixture into a blender; place a towel on top of the lid in case any of the hot liquid escapes. Blend until cherries are pureed and mixture is combined.
In a large pitcher, combine lime juice, vodka and cherry syrup; stir well; refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
Before serving, pour in the cold seltzer water. Taste; add in more syrup and seltzer, to taste if desired. Pour the mixture over crushed ice. Garnish with lime wedges, cherries and fresh mint.
