Spinach Puffs

Description

It won't be long until you will need good appetizer recipes for the holiday season. This quick and easy one will delight everyone, including vegetarians. It's quick and simple to prepare and can be ready in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. cream cheese, at room temperature
1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
3/4 c. spinach, frozen, thawed and drained/squeezed of excess water
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, add cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, spinach, salt and pepper; mix until smooth. Cut out 3 inch puff pastry squares.

Scoop out 1 T. mixture on one square; place another square on top; press edges to seal the sides.

Bake for about 15 minutes or until puffs are golden brown.

12 servings.

*Leftovers can be stored in a sealed container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but it tastes best when freshly baked.
