Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts

Description
Serve your family a super simple and scrumptious side dish that's good for everyday or even holiday meals. If you can't find the frozen shaved Brussels sprouts, simply slice fresh ones and be sure to have 9 oz. total when finished.
Ingredients
3 slices bacon, chopped
9 oz. bag frozen Green Giant shaved/sliced Brussels sprouts
drizzle of extra virgin olive oil
salt, to taste
black pepper, to taste
2 cloves garlic, minced
scant T. maple syrup

Place bacon in a large 12 inch skillet; fry bacon on medium heat; when bacon begins to sizzle, add Brussels sprouts and a drizzle of oil; saute, stirring occasionally, until both the Brussels sprouts and bacon are golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Season with salt and pepper, to taste.
Add garlic; saute for 1 minute or until very fragrant. Add maple syrup; stir to coat. Season to taste, adding more salt, pepper, and/or maple syrup, if desired.
Serve.
2-3 servings.
