Place wafers/chips in a microwave safe mixing bowl; microwave 1 minute; remove; stir. If not completely melted and smooth, microwave for 15 second bursts, until melted. Stir well in between to give the heat of the bowl enough time to melt the chocolate, but don't overheat it.

Immediately stir in cereal; pour mixture onto an un-greased cookie sheet; spread mixture out with an offset spatula to a thickness of about 1/4 inch. The chocolate will stay soft, so take your time with this.

Sprinkle on a few more Cocoa Krispies on the top for garnish, gently pushing them in with your fingers to adhere. Let bark sit until hardened, or place tray in the refrigerator to speed up the process. When completely hardened, slice into pieces with a large knife.

Store in plastic bags.

12 servings.

*White chocolate can be tricky to melt, so you may prefer to use melting wafers. It isn’t really white chocolate, but melts easily and has a nice vanilla flavor. Nestle’s white morsels work well, too.
