Stuffed Dates

Description

This super easy to make appetizer is a great one to serve around the holidays. They're quick to make, no measuring or cooking is necessary and best of all, they are delicious with their sweet and salty combination.

Ingredients

3 oz. package cream cheese, softened
3 oz. crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
36 pitted dates
36 walnut pieces

Cut a slit into each date; spread them flat.

Mix cream cheese and Gorgonzola cheese together in a bowl.

Spread cheese mixture into each date; top each with a walnut piece.

Makes 36.

*Or, if desired, you could put the cheese mixture into a zip lock bag; cut a hole in a corner; squeeze mixture onto the date. If there is any left in the bag at the end, cut bag open and use a knife to scrape the remaining mixture from the bag.
