You need these light and fluffy dinner rolls in your life, whether you make them for special occasions or an everyday meal. These little pillows of deliciousness with their cheesy, garlicky goodness, can be ready in about 30 minutes.
1¼ c. warm water, 115-125 degrees
¼ c. granulated sugar
2 T. yeast, instant or platinum works great
⅓ c. canola oil
1 t. salt
1 large egg
3½ c. all-purpose flour
4 T. melted butter
2 T. granulated garlic
1/4 c. shredded or grated Parmesan cheese
2 t. chopped parsley
Line baking sheet with parchment paper or a non-stick liner; set aside.
Combine yeast with warm water and sugar in a large bowl; allow to proof about 2-5 minutes.
Add in oil, salt, egg and flour; mix until combined, adding a little more flour if the dough is too sticky. Separate into 16 equal sized pieces; shape into rolls. Place on prepared baking sheet; let rise about 5-10 minutes in a warm place.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Brush raised rolls with melted butter; sprinkle with granulated garlic, cheese and parsley.
Bake for about 18-20 minutes.
Spread additional melted butter on tops right before serving.
