6 - 7 c. fresh broccoli florets
3 - 4 T. olive oil
1/4 c. Italian style breadcrumbs
1/2 c. freshly shredded Parmesan cheese
1 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. salt
1/4 t. black pepper
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil; coat with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine broccoli and olive oil in a large zip close bag; shake to coat; add breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt and pepper to the bag; shake to coat. Use your hands to rub the bag to help the coating stick to the broccoli.
Spread broccoli in an even layer on prepared baking sheet, picking up any coating on the bottom and spreading it over the broccoli.
Bake 12 minutes; stir and flip the broccoli. Bake for another 10 - 15 minutes, until crisp-tender.
