Peanut butter and jelly are so good together, why not try a dessert with peanut butter and strawberry pie filling on a salty pretzel crust? It's easy to make. The hardest part is waiting for it to chill in the refrigerator.
Ingredients
- 1¼ c. crushed pretzels
- ¼ c. sugar
- ½ c. butter, melted
- 1 c. creamy peanut butter
- 8 oz. package cream cheese
- ½ c. powdered sugar
- 1½ c. frozen whipped dessert topping, thawed
- 21 oz. can Lucky Leaf Premium Strawberry Fruit Filling and Topping
Steps
- Combine crushed pretzels and sugar; stir in melted butter. Press crumb mixture on the bottom and sides of a 10 inch pie plate. Cover; chill.
- Beat together peanut butter, cream cheese and powdered sugar with an electric mixer on medium speed; fold in the whipped dessert topping.
- Spoon ½ c. strawberry pie filling onto the crust. Carefully spread the peanut butter filling over the top of the pie filling. Top with the remaining pie filling.
