Description

Bacon makes everything better and that definitely includes these carrots. They are tender on the inside and the bacon is crispy and caramelized on the outside.

Ingredients

• 3 lb. whole carrots
• 1 1/2 lb. bacon
• 1/2 c. real maple syrup
• salt and pepper, to taste

Steps

1. Preheat an indirect grill, smoker or oven to 400 degrees.
2. Thoroughly scrub and peel carrots.
3. Wrap each carrot in a piece of bacon, overlapping and tucking in the ends to secure them. Sprinkle each carrot with salt and pepper.
