Rice Krispies Treats Easter Eggs
Description
Let the kids help you make these fun Easter treats. You'll be surprised at how simple and quick they are to make. You don't have to be a kid to enjoy them when they are finished either.
Ingredients
6 c. Rice Krispies cereal
12 oz. bag mini-marshmallows
6 T. butter
non-stick cooking spray
2 food colorings, of choice
plastic Easter eggs

In the microwave, melt butter and marshmallows together in a microwave safe bowl, stirring occasionally while cooking. Split mixture into two different bowls
Add a food coloring of choice into the mixture in one of the bowls; add half of the Rice Krispies to that bowl; mix together.
Repeat this with a second food coloring; add in the Rice Krispies; mix together.
Spray the plastic eggs with non-stick cooking spray; stuff cereal mixture into the plastic eggs for shaping.
Remove Rice Krispies from the plastic eggs.
Makes about 24.
