Description

Never heard of grilled avocados? They are delicious and ready in just minutes. They make a great side dish to serve with any grilled meat or fish, salad or even your favorite Mexican food.

Ingredients

  • 2 large, ripe, avocados (each about 9 oz.)
  • 2 T.freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 T. olive oil
  • seasoned salt, to taste
  • 1/2 c. fresh salsa for half shell version, optional

Steps

  1. Preheat grill. Wash avocados well before cutting.
  2. Grilled Avocado Slices:
  3. Cut each avocado in half, seed, peel and slice. Drizzle both sides of each slice with freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice then brush lightly with olive oil.
