Description
Never heard of grilled avocados? They are delicious and ready in just minutes. They make a great side dish to serve with any grilled meat or fish, salad or even your favorite Mexican food.
Ingredients
- 2 large, ripe, avocados (each about 9 oz.)
- 2 T.freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice
- 1 1/2 T. olive oil
- seasoned salt, to taste
- 1/2 c. fresh salsa for half shell version, optional
Steps
- Preheat grill. Wash avocados well before cutting.
- Grilled Avocado Slices:
- Cut each avocado in half, seed, peel and slice. Drizzle both sides of each slice with freshly squeezed lime or lemon juice then brush lightly with olive oil.
