Orange Creamsicle Puppy Chow
Description
Make this no-bake, fun and delicious treat in just a few minutes. It's much like the typical puppy chow but it has a vanilla and citrus/orange taste. It's great for your next gathering.
Ingredients
4 c. Rice Chex cereal
8 oz. Candiquick vanilla chocolate
1 t. orange extract
1 t. orange zest
1-2 drops orange food color, optional
1 c. powdered sugar

Pour the cereal into a large bowl.
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the vanilla chocolate for 30 seconds; stir; heat for 30 seconds more, until it's smooth. Add in orange extract and orange zest; stir well. If adding food coloring, add it now.
Pour the vanilla chocolate over the cereal; stir until cereal is well coated.
Carefully pour the cereal mixture into a large plastic bag; pour the powdered sugar on top; seal the bag; shake until all pieces are well coated with sugar.
Serve.
