Description
There's no reason to buy expensive candied pecans when it's so simple to make your own at home. They make a great treat by themselves and are great on salads and desserts as well.
Ingredients
- 1 c. white sugar
- 1 t. ground cinnamon
- 1 t. salt
- egg white from 1 egg
- 1 T. water
- 1 lb. pecan halves
Steps
- Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, combine sugar cinnamon and salt; set aside.
- In a large bowl, whisk together water and egg white until airy and light; add pecans; stir to coat.
