Whether it is called Million Dollar Dip or Bacon Cheddar Ranch Dip, you'll love this delicious appetizer. It is very addicting, so be sure to make enough for everyone to enjoy it.
1/2 c. slivered almonds, toasted
2 c. real mayonnaise
8 oz. chive and onion cream cheese, softened
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/2 t. lemon pepper
1/2 t. Worcestershire sauce
2 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
10 slices bacon, cooked and chopped *
1 bunch green onions, thinly sliced
assortment of crackers, vegetables or chips, for dipping
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Spread out almonds in a single layer on a baking sheet; toast for 6-8 minutes until lightly golden; cool.
While oven is preheating, cook bacon; drain on a paper towel lined plate; crumble.
In a medium size mixing bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, lemon pepper and Worcestershire sauce.
Stir in cheese, crumbled bacon, sliced green onions and toasted almonds; mix well.
Place into an airtight container; chill for at least 6 hours but preferably overnight.
Serve with an assortment of crackers, vegetables or chips, for dipping.
8 servings.
Refrigerate any leftovers.
*For the best taste, cook your own bacon instead of using packaged or bottled bacon crumbles.
