Description
Anytime is a good time to make these pretty Italian cookies, but the holidays make them even more special.
Ingredients
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. ricotta cheese
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 whipped egg whites
- 1 t. baking powder
- 1/2 c. softened butter
- pinch of salt
- cherry jam
- powdered sugar
Steps
- Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, put sugar and ricotta cheese; add egg yolks, butter, flour and baking powder; add egg whites and a pinch of salt; stir well.
- Make cookies with a hole in the center, placing cookies on the prepared cookie sheet. Let cookies stand for 30 minutes.
