Description
You will never make brownies from a box again once you try these easy to make brownies. They are amazingly rich and decadent, so you won't need much to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Ingredients
- 1/2 c. butter (no substitutes), melt in microwave
- 1 c. sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- 1 c. flour
- 16 oz. canned Hershey’s syrup
- 1 c. chopped nuts, optional
- Icing:
- 1/2 c. butter, melted (no substitutes)
- 4 T. cocoa
- 4 T. milk, divided
- 3 c. powdered sugar
- 1 t. vanilla extract
- chopped nuts, optional
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease the bottom of a 9x11 inch baking pan.
- Melt butter in microwave; cream sugar and butter together; add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Add vanilla extract; add flour, mix well. Add Hershey syrup, mix well. Add chopped nuts, if using. Pour batter into pan.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until brownies test done with a toothpick.
