Hot wings are a favorite with many people, but wings can be enjoyed other ways too. These are just as delicious with a cheesy, garlicky flavor. They are baked, so they are a little healthier, there is less grease and less mess to clean up later.
Ingredients
- 3 lb. chicken wings, split, tips removed (about 36 split wings in total)
- 2 T. flour
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. seasoned salt
- 1/2 t. black pepper
- Sauce:
- 1/3 c. butter
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish
- 1 1/2 t. garlic powder
- 1/2 t. black pepper
- 1/4 t. seasoned salt
- 4-6 dashes hot sauce (Louisiana hot sauce)
- 1 T. parsley, for garnish
Steps
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Line a baking pan with aluminum foil; place parchment paper over the foil.
- Pat wings dry with paper towels; toss with flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Place wings in a single layer on prepared pan.
- Bake wings 20 minutes; flip; bake another 15 minutes.
