Change up those boring tater tots that you make and serve them with a wonderful Ranch seasoning. It's easy to mix up and serve not just on tater tots, but popcorn, baked potatoes or in a salad dressing.
1/2 c. powdered buttermilk*
1 T. dried chives
1 T. dried dill
1 T. granulated garlic
1 T. granulated onion
1 T. dried parsley
1 t. fine sea salt
1 t. black pepper
1 large bag extra-crispy Ore-Ida tater tots
Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
Whisk spices in a bowl; set aside.
Bake tots to very crisp, about 25 minutes. Serve tots, topped with Ranch seasoning, to your taste.
Makes 3/4 c. seasoning.
Store in a plastic, airtight container in the refrigerator.
*Store powdered buttermilk, which is available in the baking aisle, in the refrigerator after opening.
**This homemade Ranch seasoning would be great on hot popcorn, mixed into a dip with sour cream, or as a salad dressing with sour cream, a splash of buttermilk or cream and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
