Description

You don't need to go to a restaurant to enjoy this appetizer anymore but can make them easily at home. They are much like a Bloomin Onion but easier for home preparation. Serve them with the tasty sauce.

Ingredients

• 4 large onions
• 1 egg, beaten
• 1/2 c. milk
• 1 c. flour
• 1 1/2 t. paprika
• 1 t. salt
• 1/2 t. black pepper
• 1/2 t. garlic powder
• 1 1/2 t. oregano
• 1/2 t. cumin
• oil, for frying
• 2 T. ketchup
• 2/3 c. mayonnaise
• 1 T. sweet paprika
• 2 T. heavy cream
• 1/4 lime, juiced

Steps

1. In a bowl, whisk together egg and milk; set aside.
2. In another bowl, mix together flour, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, oregano and cumin; set aside.
3. Heat oil.
