Make the perfect summer dessert for those pool parties and summer gatherings. It takes only minutes of preparation and just a few ingredients for this yummy treat.
1/2 c. hot fudge sauce, warmed
4 c. whipped cream, divided
3.9 oz. package instant chocolate pudding, not prepared
2 c. chopped Oreo cookies, divided
12 ice cream sandwiches
In a medium sized bowl, whisk warmed fudge topping and 1 - 2 c. whipped cream until well blended. Add dry pudding mix; stir for several minutes. Add 1 c. cookies; mix until blended; set aside.
Place 4 ice cream sandwiches, side-by-side, on a foil-lined cookie sheet. Spread half of the whipped cream pudding mixture on top; repeat layers.
Add the remaining 4 ice cream sandwiches; cover cake with the remaining whipped cream. Be sure to add the remaining chopped cookies to the cake, adding them to the top or all over the cake.
Freeze cake for 1 hour. Lightly wrap cake with foil; freeze for another 2-3 hours.
