Change up the classic margarita by making a frozen blueberry margarita. It's a great cocktail for hot days sitting outside on the porch, patio or around the pool.
5 oz. Silver Tequila
2 oz. Blueberry Schnapps
4 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
2 oz. Triple Sec
2 c. frozen blueberries
1 c. ice
Kosher salt, for the rim of the glasses
fresh lime slices, for serving
In a blender, blend Tequila, frozen blueberries, blueberry Schnapps, Triple Sec, a squeeze of lime juice and ice; blend on high until smooth.
Rub a lime slice over the rim of 2 glasses; dip the rims of the glasses into the salt; pour cocktail into the glasses.
Serve garnished with a fresh lime slice.
