Do you need a new, easy side dish to try? These slow cooker potatoes will definitely hit the spot with their great onion flavor.
2 lb. russet potatoes, thinly sliced (about 1/4 inch thick)
1/4 t. garlic powder
1/4 t. black pepper
1 oz. packet Lipton Onion Soup mix
1/3 c. olive oil
Spray 4 quart or larger slow cooker with non-stick spray.
Add potatoes to the slow cooker in a spiral design. Sprinkle garlic powder, pepper and onion soup mix evenly over the potatoes; drizzle olive oil evenly over the potatoes.
Cover; cook on High setting for 4 hours WITHOUT uncovering during the cooking time.
8 servings.
*Tip: To make clean up a lot easier, use a slow cooker liner bag in the slow cooker. The onion soup mix, oil, garlic powder and pepper can be added to the liner bag along with the potatoes; give a little shake to evenly coat the potatoes; place the liner in the slow cooker.
