Holiday Sangria with Champagne

Description

This amazing sangria is the perfect cocktail to serve during the holidays. It's easy and can be made in advance to save you time during your get together so that you can enjoy yourself at your party.

Ingredients

Punch:
1 bottle 750ml Moscato Wine
2 c. diet or regular cranberry juice
1 c. POM Wonderful Pomegranate juice
1/2 c. orange juice
3 oz. simple syrup
1 apple, unpeeled, cored, quartered, sliced thin (Honey Crisp)
1 orange, halved, sliced thin
1 lemon, halved, sliced thin
1 red Bartlett pear, halved, sliced thin
1/2 c. fresh cranberries
1/4 c. pomegranate seeds

champagne, for serving
ice, for serving

Punch:
Mix all ingredients, except for the champagne, in a large pitcher; stir well. Chill at least 4 hours or overnight.

Stir punch. Pour into glasses, leaving some room at the top. Float some champagne on top of the punch. Transfer some of the fruit into each glass.

Serve.
