This cheese ball may look too cute to eat, but please do! Enjoy with your favorite dippers and maybe a jar of pepper jelly.
2 - 8 oz. packages cream cheese, softened to room temperature
1/2 c. finely shredded mozzarella cheese
1 clove minced garlic
whole peppercorns
a bit of shredded carrot
crackers, for dipping
Mix garlic into the cream cheese. Roll cream cheese into 2 balls, one smaller than the other. Roll both balls in the finely shredded cheese.
Place the small ball on top of the larger one. Add peppercorns for the eyes, mouth, and buttons. Add a little shred of carrot for the nose.
Place on a platter/plate with choice of crackers, bagel chips, pretzels, for dipping.
*This would be great with a jar of pepper jelly.
