These little individual cheese balls are sure to please family and guests. They only require about 10 minutes of your time to make and just a few ingredients.
16 oz. cream cheese, at room temperature
1 t. ground cinnamon
3 T. honey or maple syrup, plus more for garnish
1 1/2 c. nuts like walnuts, pecans or other favorites, divided
1 c. chopped dried cranberries
1/2 c. chopped fresh chives
assorted crackers or toasted bread, for serving
Line a plate or cookie sheet with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, beat together cream cheese, cinnamon and honey until fluffy; add 1/2 c. nuts; mix well to combine; set aside.
Toss together remaining nuts, cranberries and chives.
Using a cookie scoop, scoop out balls of cheese filling; toss/roll them into the nut mixture. Place them onto the prepared plate or cookie sheet.
Refrigerate the cream cheese balls until ready to serve.
Serve with crackers, favorite toasted bread or as is with a toothpick.
