Creamy Tortellini with Bacon and Brussels Sprouts

Description

Enjoy your pasta, vegetables and protein all in one dish. It's really very easy and so delicious.

Ingredients

  • 12 oz. fresh brussels sprouts
  • 2 c. tortellini, uncooked
  • 10 strips bacon, cooked, chopped, divided
  • 1 c. heavy cream
  • 1/4 t. salt
  • 1/2 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c. milk

Steps

  1. Bring a large pot of well salted water to a boil.
  2. Cut off the stems of brussels sprouts; cut each sprout in half. Add sprouts to boiling water; boil for 5 minutes. Remove using a large slotted spoon; set aside. Do not discard the water.
  3. In the same pot of boiling water, cook tortellini according to the package instructions; drain.
