This is a no fuss, no mess dinner made in your slow cooker. Just add everything to crock, cook and don't peek! It's delicious.
1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts (or thighs)
10.5 oz. can cream of chicken soup
10.5 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 1/2 cans water (emptied soup can)
1/2 t. garlic powder
1/4 t. black pepper
2 c. Minute® rice (not regular rice)
1 oz. packet Lipton® onion soup mix
Spray a 5 quart or larger slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
Add soups, water, garlic powder, pepper and rice to a large bowl; stir well. Add half of the mixture to the slow cooker.
Place the chicken breasts on top. Spread remaining mixture on top of chicken.
Sprinkle on the Lipton onion soup mix. Cover. Cook on HIGH for 21/2 hours. DO NOT peek during the cooking time.
Serve.
