Make your Easter eggs even more beautiful and fun when you tie dye the eggs.
1 dozen hard boiled eggs
4 different food colors
white vinegar
water
Mix drops of food coloring with a few tablespoons of vinegar and about 1/4 c. water into each of four bowls with 4 eye droppers. (The vinegar makes stronger color so you might change amounts over the years.)
Put a boiled egg in a piece of clean cloth (cotton cloth, cheese cloth or paper towels) about 8 inches square and twist it tight. Fill the dropper with the desired color and squeeze onto the cloth, any way you like. Add more colors until you've covered the egg/cloth. Open and voila! Dry eggs in an empty egg carton. You will learn as you go about how much to squirt on and which colors, but, essentially, that's it! I rinse the cloths out and reuse. Wet cloths vs dry ones give some different results.
