Description

Some people are chocolate lovers and some are lemon lovers. Lemon lovers, this one will make you very happy. It's delicious and very refreshing and makes a great dessert any time of the year.

Ingredients

• ½ c. (1 stick butter)
• 1 c. flour
• 1 ½ t. baking powder
• ¼ t. salt
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. buttermilk
• 1 t. vanilla extract
• 1 t. lemon extract
• 21 oz. can lemon pie filling
• whipped cream, for serving

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place butter in a 9 x 9 inch baking dish; place dish in the preheated oven to fully melt for 3-4 minutes; remove from oven; set aside.
3. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder and salt; add sugar; whisk to combine. Pour in buttermilk, vanilla and lemon extracts; whisk just until combined.
