This cocktail is a popular one at the famous Founding Farmers Restaurant in Washington, D.C. It's a great one any time of the year, but especially when you need a refreshing cocktail in the summer.
2 oz. Pearl Cucumber Flavored Vodka
1 oz. simple syrup
1/2 oz. good quality ginger ale (or ginger beer)
1/2 oz. lemon juice
1 oz. sparkling water
1 slice cucumber
1 cantaloupe ball
Add ice cubes to a cocktail shaker; pour in vodka, simple syrup, ginger ale and lemon juice; cover; shake vigorously.
Strain into an old fashion glass; add ice and some sparkling water.
Serve, garnished with a cucumber slice and cantaloupe ball.
Makes 1 cocktail.
