Make serving your salad or soup more fun by serving it in a large bowl made from pizza dough. It's so easy to do, you'll wish that you had done it sooner.
all-purpose flour, for dusting work surface
1 lb. store bought pizza dough (completely defrosted)
non-stick cooking spray, for the bowl
3 T. salted butter, melted
1/2 t. garlic powder
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Lightly dust work surface with flour.
Stretch/roll out pizza dough in a 12 inch circle. The dough should not be too thin.
Drape dough over a 10 inch upside-down metal bowl that has been sprayed with cooking spray. Place bowl on a baking tray.
Mix melted butter and garlic powder in a small bowl; brush on the dough, reserving a bit for the inside after baking. Bake until the dough is golden brown, 20 - 25 minutes.
Remove pizza dough from the bowl using oven mitts. Brush inside with the remaining garlic butter. Allow it to cool and crisp.
Use the cooked bread/pizza dough to serve salads, soups, chili, dips or sauces.
