This recipe takes homemade lemonade to the next level. It starts with the typical ingredients like lemon juice, sugar and water and then the magic ingredients, vanilla ice cream.
1/3 c. freshly squeezed lemon juice
1/3 c. granulated sugar
1 c. cold water
1/2 c. ice cubes
4 c. vanilla ice cream
lemon slices, for garnish
In a small pitcher, combine the lemon juice and sugar; stir well to dissolve sugar. Add 1 c. cold water and 1/2 c. ice cubes; stir well to chill the mixture.
Add the lemonade mixture and vanilla ice cream to a blender; blend on high until very smooth.
Pour into glasses. Serve garnished with lemon slices.
3-4 servings.
