People in Alabama and the southeast are familiar with a white BBQ finishing or dipping sauce. Instead of buying it, make your own for chicken, pork, or many other meats. It's a great change from the traditional tomato based sauce.
2 c. mayonnaise
½ c. apple cider vinegar or more to taste for a bit more bite
2 T. lemon juice
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
2 t. ground black pepper
1 t. salt
1 t. cayenne pepper
1 - 2 t. horseradish
In a bowl, combine all ingredients; cover; chill before serving.
The sauce should keep, covered in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks.
