Description
Pimm's Cup was created in the 1840's by a London bar owner and is especially enjoyed now in New Orleans. It's a refreshing cocktail on hot days from the Southern heat.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. Pimm’s No. 1 (gin)
- 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- ice
- ginger ale, to top (or ginger beer)
- Garnishes: cucumber slice, mint sprig, strawberry, basil sprig, lemon slice, orange slice
Steps
- Add Pimm’s No. 1 and lemon juice into a highball glass over ice; top with ginger ale; stir to combine.
- Garnish with choice of a cucumber slice, mint sprig, strawberry, basil sprig, lemon slice, orange slice.
- 1 serving.
