Many remember the incredibly delicious frosted brownies served in school lunchrooms. They are moist, fudgy and full of chocolate flavor.

Ingredients

• Brownies:
• 1 c. butter, melted
• 1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2 c. all-purpose flour
• 2 c. granulated sugar
• 4 large eggs
• 4 t. vanilla extract
• Chocolate Frosting:
• 1/4 c. butter, softened
• 1/4 c. milk
• 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
• 3 c. powdered sugar

Steps

1. Brownies:
2. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9"x13" baking dish with aluminum foil; spray foil with non-stick spray.
3. In the bowl of an electric mixer, add butter and cocoa powder; use the paddle attachment to blend until smooth. Add the flour and sugar; beat together; add eggs and vanilla; mix just until combined. The batter will be thick. Do not over mix. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish; spread out evenly.
