Place coconut oil and pumpkin puree in a pot; heat on stove top low until oil is fully melted; stir well so oil takes on an orangish tint and absorbs some of the pumpkin flavor.
Place a paw silicone mold on a flat surface. Evenly divide the ginger into each paw of the mold before spooning in some of the heated pumpkin. Spoon in pumpkin into each paw cavity; carefully spoon in remaining oil, filling the cavities almost to the top.
Place in the freezer for 1 hour. When treats are solid, remove them from the mold.
Makes about 10 treats.
Store treats in an airtight container in the freezer.
