These lemon brownies will be a hit every time that you make them. They're super moist, soft and are topped with a delicious glaze.
Ingredients
- Brownies:
- 1/2 c. salted butter, softened*
- 3/4 c. granulated sugar
- zest from 1/2 lemon
- 2 large eggs
- 1 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 t. baking powder
- Glaze:
- 3/4 c. powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 T. freshly squeezed lemon juice
- zest from 1/2 lemon
Steps
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray an 8 × 8" baking pan with cooking spray or line it with parchment paper; set aside.
- Brownies:
- In a large bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer, beat together butter, sugar and lemon zest until light and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition; add lemon juice. Add flour and baking powder; mix until just combined.
