Description

Christmas cookies are always great but it can be a pain making them. These have the same yummy taste but are easier and quicker to make. These bars are a great way to serve at a party.

Ingredients

• 1 c. unsalted butter, at room temperature
• 1 c. light brown sugar, packed
• 1/2 c. granulated sugar
• 2 large eggs, at room temperature
• 2 t. vanilla extract
• 3 c. flour
• 1 t. baking soda
• 1 t. salt
• 1 c. Christmas colored M&M’s
• 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips
• 1/3 c. Christmas colored sprinkles

Steps

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with parchment paper.
2. Using a stand mixer or hand mixer with a large bowl, beat butter, brown sugar and granulated sugar; mix in eggs and vanilla until combined.
3. In a medium bowl, whisk to combine flour, baking soda and salt; gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
