Does your recipe call for heavy cream but you don't have it? You can make your own with just 2 ingredients that you probably already have in your refrigerator.
2/3 c. whole milk
1/3 c. real unsalted butter, melted, at room temperature
Combine ingredients in a mixer or a food processor; mix/whip until desired thickness. It may take a bit. Chill until ready to use.
Makes 1 cup.
