Celebrate spring, Easter or any time of the year with these delightful cookies. They are amazingly delicious, filled with Cadbury Egg candies.
2 1/4 c. flour
1 t. baking soda
1 t. salt
1 c. unsalted butter, softened
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar, packed
1 t. vanilla
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1 c. chocolate chips
1/2 c. crushed Cadbury Egg candies

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
In a large bowl, add the flour, baking soda and salt. Use an electric mixer to beat the butter, both sugars and vanilla together in large bowl until creamy. Add 1 egg at a time, beating well after each addition.
Slowly add in the flour mixture, beating while being added. Stir in chocolate chips and crushed candies.
Drop by a rounded tablespoon onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake for 9-11 minutes, or until golden brown.
While cookies are still warm, place a few whole Cadbury Egg candies to the tops of the cookies, pushing the candies down slightly into the cookies.
Cool on the baking sheets for 2 minutes and then transfer the cookies to a wire rack to cool completely.
