If you like the Olive Garden version, you'll love this one that you make at home. It so delicious and easy to make in the crockpot.
1 1/2 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4-6 oz. of a bottle of Olive Garden Italian dressing
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese, divided
4 oz. block of cream cheese (half of a block)
16 oz. cooked pasta, like penne pasta
Preheat the crockpot on the correct setting about 20 minutes before putting the food in it. Just turn it on while prepping the food. Then spray the crockpot with cooking spray before putting in the food to make cleanup easier later.
Place chicken breasts laying flat in the slow cooker. Pour the Olive Garden Dressing over the chicken breasts. Sprinkle 1/4 c. of the cheese over the chicken. Place the block of cream cheese on top. Cover the slow cooker. Don't remove the lid while it is cooking! Cook for 6 hours on Low or 4 hours on High.
Cook the pasta according to package directions. Drain; set aside.
Use 2 forks to shred the chicken. Sprinkle 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese over the chicken. Stir in the pasta until well combined.
Serve hot.
