It's that time of year again to make fresh asparagus. Make it on the grill with a little oil, seasonings and serve with freshly grated Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top.
1 lb. fresh asparagus, woody ends trimmed
1-2 T. olive oil
1/2 t. garlic salt
1/4 t. black pepper
1 T. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Preheat outdoor grill to medium heat.
Make a tray of doubled heavy duty aluminum foil with raised sides or use a small baking pan with sides; drizzle/spray with a little olive oil.
Place prepared asparagus on the pan in a single layer. Drizzle with 1 T. or so of olive oil; sprinkle with garlic salt and black pepper.
Grill 7-10 minutes, or until asparagus is crisp-tender.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Serve immediately.
