Description
Easy mac and cheese made with three cheeses and Alfredo sauce is tasty and filling. Serve it alone as a meal or as a side dish.
Ingredients
- 3 T. butter
- 3 T. all-purpose flour
- 1 jar Alfredo sauce
- 4 c. whole milk
- 1 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded Asiago cheese
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 lb. elbow macaroni
- 1 lb. penne rigate pasta
- chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Steps
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Melt butter in a large pot over medium heat; stir in the flour until well combined.
- Pour in the Alfredo sauce and milk; cook over medium heat until it becomes thick, about 4 - 6 minutes. Stir in Cheddar, Asiago and Parmesan cheeses until combined and melted. Set aside; keep warm.
