It's that time of year to grill your favorites. These brats will definitely hit the spot.

Ingredients

  • 10 beer brats
  • 1 large onion, thinly sliced
  • 4 (12 oz.) cans beer, your favorite
  • 10 brat buns, split, for serving (grilled, if desired)
  • ketchup and mustard, for serving
  • sauerkraut, optional, for serving

Steps

  1. Preheat grill over medium-high heat. Clean and oil grates.
  2. In a large pot over medium-high heat, add brats, onion, and beer. Bring to a boil; reduce heat; simmer until brats are cooked through, about 10 - 12 minutes. Transfer brats to a platter.
  3. Continue cooking onions in the beer while grilling the brats.
