Description
The sweet little gems are great for breakfast, a snack or even a dessert. They are healthier and easier to make than deep fried bananas, but are just as delicious.
Ingredients
- 2 bananas, slightly overripe but not too overripe
- 2 T. sugar, or preferred substitute
- 1 t. cinnamon
- 1/4 t. nutmeg, if desired
Steps
- Peel bananas; slice into rounds, about 1/3 inch thick.
- In a small bowl, combine sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
- Lightly spray a large skillet with non-stick cooking spray; warm over medium-low heat; add banana slices.
