Turn those Sloppy Joes that everyone loves into a casserole. It has the same wonderful flavor.
1 lb. lean ground beef
1/2 onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
10 oz. farfelle (bowtie) pasta, uncooked
15 oz. Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce
2 c. shredded cheese
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9×13 baking dish with non-stick cooking spray; set aside.
Cook the pasta in a large pot of water until al dente. Drain well.
In a large pot on medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, bell pepper, and diced onion. Discard excess grease.
Add the Manwich Sloppy Joe sauce, cooked bowtie pasta, and half of the shredded cheese. Stir until well combined.
Pour into the prepared baking dish. Cover with aluminum foil.
Bake for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, remove the foil; sprinkle with the remaining cheese.
Place under the broiler for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
